Conference

This one-day annual Tri-State HRMA Conference in May is the largest professional networking and educational program that our association sponsors. The committee is responsible for all aspects of designing and running the event. Contact Noni Boddie for more information about this committee.

Diversity & Inclusion

The purpose of this committee is to educate and act as a resource to members in the implementation or expansion of their diversity goals and initiatives. Senior Executive Forum

This committee is committed to creative recruiting and retention programs focused on creating and implementing initiatives to promote the value of Tri-State HRMA membership and to those HR professionals who are not yet members.

Finance

Legislative Affairs

This committee is designed to provide practical legislative updates that could New Jersey and Pennsylvania businesses. The updates are presented during monthly meetings with committee members who collaboratively select topics, while working on their presentation skills to develop both legislative and platform prowess. Student Relations

This committee serves as the liaison between Tri-State HRMA and our sponsored student chapter at Rowan University. As requested, we provide speakers for classes and student chapter meetings. Study Group

This initiative supports Tri-State HRMA members preparing for the SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP and HRCI certification exams. Workforce Readiness

This committee plays a role providing resource information on worker training and development opportunities to help remove barriers that may prevent qualified workers from being fully considered for jobs because of long-term unemployment, disadvantaged situations or other relevant matters. This group is centered on giving back to the HR community and volunteer-ism. This group is open to young HR professionals with eight or less years of work experience.
