The Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as the primary interface between Human Resources and the nursing leaders and management for all of talent acquisition, providing the highest level of customer service to assigned clients. The Talent Acquisition Specialist coordinates the recruitment activities of qualified nursing and non nursing applicants and enhances the retention of colleagues presently employed in the health system. The Talent Acquisition Specialist leverages a through knowledge and understanding of the nursing and non nursing profession to align HR initiatives and department objectives.
•Education - Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
•Years of Experience - 5-8 years required, 8+ years preferred.
•Skills - excellent communications and interpersonal skills, excellent consultative and coaching skills, abiity to work independently and handle multiple priorities within a high pressure environment, strong analytic skills, must be able to travel between sites, previous experience in acute care
•Preferred skills - previous human resources and/or healthcare experience, working knowledge of human resources information systems, broad knowledge of human resources policies and procedures, ability to function independently, meet deadlines, and handle a demanding workload
