Human Resource Generalist

Our client, a pharmaceutical company located in Princeton, is seeking an HR Generalist for a direct-hire position. Looking for an organized individual who is a self-starter and is able to manage and prioritize a variety of tasks in a fast-paced and growing company. Responsibilities: • Reviewing payroll, making sure payroll is ready to be processes on a bi-weekly basis • Handle employee’s time, attendance, and any payroll PTO issues • Benefit tasks (i.e. Claim resolutions/Reconciling benefit statements) • Creating and enforcing company policies and procedures • Navigate and resolve any employee relations issues • Maintenance of current HR files • Manage staffing needs and processes including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding • Manage the HR email and respond to employee and vendor inquiries • Administration of Employee Benefits • Answer general HR questions, and escalate to management when appropriate • Ensure the business is compliant and up to date with local, state and federal regulations and labor laws • Work with managers to identify employment needs, qualifications, and responsibilities of potential employees Qualifications: • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Business, or related area • Minimum 5 years of Human Resources, or Human Resources related experience may be a substitute • Knowledge of a broad range of Human Resources strategies and practices, including compensation, performance management, safety, hiring, and employee relations • Knowledge of State and Federal Employment Laws • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Salary range is $50K to $60K
