Join us September 7, 2017 to kick off our program year when Janine Truitt will present an engaging topic for our HR community – “HR Professionals Need Career Love Too!”   Working in HR is no easy task. HR Practitioners spend countless hours and days creating opportunities, programs and initiatives for other people. Many of those hours spent on others are thankless and challenging. In the midst of doing what you do every day for your organizations, how often do you stop to think about where your career is going? You may think of it on a bad day, but what about having a consistent lens on what is important to you and even your team. Janine has a theory. HR professionals need career love too! You have the same developmental needs and wants as everyone else in the organization – yet you are often the last in line to have those discussions. It’s time to create opportunity within HR!

In this interactive workshop, you will walk away with: ·

  • An understanding of why it is important to practice some HR self-care by actively focusing on career development and planning within HR.
  • How to foster an environment of sharing and collaboration within HR, in an effort to build and nurture stronger and more cohesive teams within HR.
  • A, Talent Action and Accountability ™ plan that will allow you to keep on top of your own career goals and aspirations.
